No ordinary tree would do this year.
Having settled for mediocrity for far too long, I was determined to find perfection no matter what it required of me!
I dressed hastily, and then I laid out my vision to Jonathan.
He was enthusiastic, and suggested we enlist Amanda and Jaden to assist with the execution of our plan.
We all agreed that it was a splendid idea, so off we set in search of the Perfect Christmas Tree.
We traveled for what seemed like hours.
Hazards and perils were present at every turn.
We passed by many trees, however, none was up to our high standard of perfection, so we pressed onward.
Finally, upon the distant horizon, we gazed upon a tree with a certain, indescribable glow. As we moved closer, tears of joy welled in our eyes as we realised that this was, indeed, the tree for which we were seeking!
Moving quickly, we adorned the tree with a few beads to ensure it was, indeed, worthy.
It proved worthy, therefore, we moved to fell the tree.
Jaden, although quite handy with the chainsaw, allowed me the honour.
Jaden is immeasurably noble in such matters, and I pledge her my loyalty and love.
We loaded the tree, and headed for home.
Everyone was pleased!
Now, it's time to DECORATE!!!
