I want to show you something. You may have heard about the teacher in Sudan who was going to be caned for allowing the children in her class to name a teddy bear something they found offensive. Caning is not something that is discussed much in the US, and you probably thought it only happens in other 'third world' countries. You should know that it occurs here, too, and at a rate much higher than reports in the conventional press would indicate. Recently, there was a caning right in our own county. I wanted to show you just how devastating it can be. Please be aware that these are very graphic images, and should not be viewed if you are easily offended by such things.

Allow yourself just a moment to consider how violated you would feel if you were the subject of a caning!

Notice, too, that Santa, Rudolph, and Frosty were present at the Nativity.
Observe that an 'archreindeer' is perched atop the stable in image number two.

I also found it interesting that this scene has not one, but two Nativities.
Both, however, include Santa. One with Mrs. Claus, and one without.


This is Willy Melt.


He comes from the land of Laura Lee. The land of Laura Lee is a magical land far to the west of us where the sun rests in the evening.

The inhabitants of the land of Laura Lee spend their days in equestrian pursuits while large crocks of hearty soups and stews simmer on the stove.

Fresh loaves, cakes and pies are baked daily, and dainty cookies are prepared by their precious children.

The fair ladies of the land of Laura Lee are always courteous and dress as princesses, as they have a royal seamstress in their midst!

Even their faithful canines have regal attire which they wear with pride and dignity.
I, myself, have been witness to an image of one of them in what appears to be lederhosen!

It is many days travel to the land of Laura Lee, and all along the way lie perils and highwaymen, however, Willy made it safely, and he brought along a friend!


This is Willy Melt, and the fair maiden, Betty Will.
As you can see, they are very much in love!
They have so much in common, and Willy's love for her is, indeed, very deep.
It is as if they were 'cut from the same cloth', so to speak!
Betty is so beautiful, and it is obvious why Willy loves her so!

But, alas, not all perils present themselves on the road leading to and from the land of Laura Lee....

This is the handsome, yet devious Snow Baron of the Land of Hon. He has been the 'Man about Town' in the land of Hon for many seasons, and is feared by many men. Tales of his striking features, and womanising ways are known throughout the land. Many hearts have been broken, and fortunes lost to the Snow Baron.

For many years, he has maintained an uneasy engagement to the princess Sally Alicia Acorn daughter of King Maximillian and Queen Alicia Acorn, and heiress to the throne of the Kingdom, Mobotropolis.



Sally's family ruled over Mobotropolis for many generations. Their dynasty ended shortly after the Great War, after which a treacherous Warlord named Julian Kintobor, a defector who helped King Acorn win the war, staged a coup d'etat and took over the kingdom. Re-christened Ivo Robotnik, the newly-proclaimed dictator turned the city into an industrial wasteland. In addition, he used his roboticisers to transfigure the city's population into mindless robot slaves. The five-year-old Sally was hidden from Robotnik's grasp and sent to live in the protected Knothole Village hidden within the Great Forest. Sally grew up to lead a band of ragtag rebel militiamen from Knothole. Living along side her are her friends, her governess Rosie, and the elderly Julayla who Sally thinks of as her grandmother. Eventually, Sally and the militiamen from Knothole overthrew the evil Kintobor and restored freedom, peace and tranquility to the kingdom. Her engagement to the wealthy Snow Baron is one of convenience as the years of struggle and rebuilding of the kingdom have taken a toll on the treasure of the King, yet her love for him is strong.

It took very little time for the Snow Baron to learn of the presence of the young and beautiful Betty Will, and he wasted no time in wooing her from her beloved!



It wasn't long before he had stolen her completely from Willy, and left his own fiancée, Princess Alicia, devastated.



The Baron even took her to the 'Dora' chair!


The Baron, however, was unprepared for her beauty and the power it provided Betty Will!
Within days of casting his spell upon her, the lovely Betty became the object of desire for snowmen from all over the globe!


They came at all hours, and even...


Then, the dispicable Simon Legree, an evil plantation owner from the north, set out to make her his own...


(In the movie, this cat will, obviously, be played by David Carradine)

Simon was unprepared for the beauty of Betty, and the depth and power of love she still maintained for Willy.

Simon succeeded in breaking the spell cast upon Betty by the Baron, but he could not hold her. Her love for Willy was too strong, and they are together to this day!
